Configuration to Stream From Network Share

It is possible to create an alias that refers to a location on another machine, but it takes a few additional steps. The first point of confusion comes with identity. Your first thought is to map a remote share to your web serving machine and then refer to that drive in the YoDJ.INI file. Alternatively, you might want to refer to the remote machine by the UNC name and you would be on the right track but its not that simple.

Remember that the web server is not running as "you". It runs as a special user called local system service with very limited rights for security reasons.

You need to create a user under which the web server will run and create the same user on the remote machine. For security reasons, it is a very bad idea to use your own personal account. Use a different user account.
